Davis Karadan
Managing Director
The man behind the success of Softouch International FZC, Davis Karadan found his calling in the health and wellness industry in 1989 with the opening of his first Fitness Club and Beauty Parlour in Cochin, Kerala. In 1997, he took his first step into the Ayurvedic Spa business at the Kovalam Ashoka Beach Resort which was later rebranded to the renowned Le Meridien Beach Resort Kovalam. Softouch Spas at the Le Meridien and Leela Kempinski Group in India helped shape the image of a luxury Ayurveda spa and their success paved the way for the signing of Softouch as the official spa operators of leading Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) properties and several other hotels in India. In 2001, Karadan associated his Indian Softouch Health Care Pvt Ltd with an international group to form Softouch International FZC, a company set up to grow the SOFTOUCH brand internationally. He began with the spa at the Kempinski Hotel Ajman and since then, the company has grown to operate many Ayurveda establishments in Europe and the Middle East and is now poised for growth in the African and Asian markets. A true mentor and father figure within the company, Davis Karadan is responsible for creating SOFTOUCH’s admired culture of inclusiveness. Davis Karadan believes in a nurturing management style that involves employees and consultants in the growth and development of the brand – and in its successes and triumphs.
Dr Sheloob Khan

Spa Manager at the Softouch Spa at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. Doctor Sheloob Khan has come a long way from his early forays into the world of Ayurveda at a small resort in Kovalam, Kerala. It’s a journey he describes as a “great learning experience” and one that has been crowned by many exciting recognitions including being a part of the Divya Spa team that won the prestigious Pevonia Asia Spa Award for Best Ayurvedic Spa in 2008 and being consistently featured among the most highly rated spas within the Softouch network. Dr. Khan joined Softouch six years ago at the Leela Kempinski Kovalam as an Ayurveda consultant. With a strong background in Ayurvedic health rituals combined with the management skills required to succeed in the hospitality business, Dr. Khan has built a renowned name for himself within the Softouch group.
Dr Suni Paul
Sr. Ayurveda Consultant & Manager , Ajman Hotel
Dr Suni Paul’s journey with Softouch began in 2003 at Le Meridien Cochin in India before bringing her to the shores of the UAE as an Ayurvedic Consultant at Softouch Ayurveda Spa at Kempinski Hotel Ajman and Hilton Ras Al Kaimah. Certified as a medical practitioner by the Ministry of Health, UAE and with an absolute passion for the popular Indian life science, Dr Paul is a specialist in various Ayurveda treatments like Panchakarma and special Kerala therapies like Uzhichil, Pizhichil, Njavarakkizhi and Sirodhara amongst others. Her experience in yoga and natural care broadens her patient consultancy and she is an active participant in Ayurveda seminars, discussions and trainings as well as a respected media commentator on the topic.
Dr Binu J Abraham
Ayurveda Consultant, Amirandes, Greece
Ayurveda Consultant at Grecotel Cape Sounio Hotel in Greece, Dr. Binu J. Abraham has been a part of the Softouch team for many years, and is one of the most widely travelled Ayurvedic consultants within the network. Having started at the Le Meridien Kovalam Beach Resort, Kerala in 2004, he has since worked at Softouch spas in the KTDC hotels Samudra, Waterscapes, Aranya Nivas and Tea County, at the Divya Spa at the Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach before being appointed to the Grecotel Cape Sounio Hotel. Dr. Binu J. Abraham holds an Ayurvedacharya degree and is a trained medical and therapeutic Ayurvedic practitioner with a very high patient success rate treating everything from Spondylosis to Rheumatic Arthritis and performing traditional treatments such as Pizhichil, Navarakkizhi, Thailadhara, Vamana and Nasyam.

Dr Dinu Raj’s journey with Softouch began in 2011 at Elephant Court Resort,Munnar and later on in Ramada Cochin Resort in India and with an absolute passion for the popular Indian life science, Dr Dinu is a specialist in various Ayurveda treatments like Panchakarma and special Kerala therapies like Marma massage, Pizhichil, Njavarakkizhi and Naadi chikitsa amongst others. His experience in yoga and natural care broadens his patient consultancy and he is an active participant in Ayurveda seminars, discussions and medical camps as well as a respected media commentator of this divine science.
